Northern Districts stalwart Graeme Aldridge returns to Plunket Shield cricket for ND's second-round clash against Auckland at Eden Park on Saturday.
Aldridge, who played the opening HRV Cup game, has now satisfactorily recovered from ankle surgery in the winter, to be able to bowl long spells.
With Daniel Flynn joiningthe New Zealand side for the upcoming test series against Sri Lanka, Aldridge takes his place in the only change to the side that drew with Otago this week.
