The Black Sticks have been thumped 3-0 by Malaysia in the second test in Kuala Lumpur after a 2-2 draw in the first.
Coach Shane McLeod's lamenting a lacklustre performance.
He says it was a combination of Malaysia playing well and New Zealand being well below their best.
The Black Sticks play the Malaysian junior side today before heading to Delhi tomorrow.
