Three burning questions from Joseph Parker's victory over Sherman The Tank Williams:

1. The Tank wants a rematch - will it happen?

No. There's no value in it for Parker's promoters Duco. Parker was a clear winner over the 10 rounds. Williams' best was the sixth, but it was questionable whether he won that one. The Bahamas fighter was defensive and tricky before saving some of his best attack for the interview afterwards. The Parker camp will consider themselves beyond The Tank now.

2. What next for Parker?
He will headline the Fight for Life event in Hamilton on December 6, but Duco are struggling to find him an opponent. They had hoped to pit him against a world-ranked fighter, but that is probably unlikely now. Whoever it is he is likely to have a more attacking mindset than Williams.

3. What's the end goal?
A world title fight in 18 months to two years. As trainer Kevin Barry said last night, Duco would probably like Parker to fight for a world title next month, but he knows Parker is still a work in progress. Before the fight he said Parker was at 50 per cent of his potential, and the Williams fight probably confirmed that. He is quick and skilful but didn't quite follow the fight plan of working Williams' body and stepping away from what turned out to be effective clinching.
