Pound-for-pound king Floyd Mayweather continues to live up to his 'Money' persona.
If he isn't making millions of dollars inside the boxing ring, the undefeated pugilist is busy betting on sports, with some noted success, based on his social media activity this week.
Mayweather (48-0) defeated Manny Pacquiao (57-6-2) ina highly-anticipated, but largely underwhelming, megafight in Las Vegas on May 3 (NZT) and placed four substantial wagers during the weekend, all of which came in, via a stroke of luck for Money.
Spending $US350,000 across the four bets he made a profit of $477,272 ($NZ647,835).
Firstly, Mayweather bet on the Rockets at $4.70 to beat the LA Clippers in game six of their Western Conference playoff series and the Rockets rallied from 19 points down in the final quarter to get the job done last Friday.

Next up, he took the second-half margin line for the Hawks of +3.5 in their NBA playoff encounter with the Washington Wizards. The Hawks led 45-39 at halftime and held on to win 94-91 when Paul Pierce's game-tying three-pointer was ruled to have come after the buzzer. That meant the Hawks were outscored by only three in the second spell and Mayweather won by the closest of margins. The odds were $1.91.
Mayweather went to his roots for the third bet as he picked the Gennady Golovkin middleweight title fight against Willie Monroe Jr to finish inside six rounds. Golovkin, one of boxing's rising stars, knocked out Monroe Jr midway through the sixth round, which paid $2.30.
Lastly, Mayweather backed the Rockets to cover a spread of +4.5 during the second half of game seven in the Western Conference semifinals against the Clippers and the boys from Houston delivered for him again at $1.91. They outscored the Clippers by three points in the second half on Sunday.
