Pound-for-pound king Floyd Mayweather continues to live up to his 'Money' persona.
If he isn't making millions of dollars inside the boxing ring, the undefeated pugilist is busy betting on sports, with some noted success, based on his social media activity this week.
Mayweather (48-0) defeated Manny Pacquiao (57-6-2) in
a highly-anticipated, but largely underwhelming, megafight in Las Vegas on May 3 (NZT) and placed four substantial wagers during the weekend, all of which came in, via a stroke of luck for Money.
Spending $US350,000 across the four bets he made a profit of $477,272 ($NZ647,835).
Firstly, Mayweather bet on the Rockets at $4.70 to beat the LA Clippers in game six of their Western Conference playoff series and the Rockets rallied from 19 points down in the final quarter to get the job done last Friday.
