Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor to fight for belt with 3,360 diamonds

The big money fight between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor now has a belt befitting of the bout.

It was announced today at the final press conference before their highly anticipated fight in Las Vegas on Sunday NZT, that the pair will fight for The Money Belt.

According to reports the belt features 3,360 diamonds, 600 sapphires, 300 emeralds, 1.5 kg of solid 24k gold and an alligator leather strap.

Though estimates vary widely, Mayweather is expected to make some US$200 million, while McGregor will likely pocket at least US$100 million.

It's estimated more than 50 million Americans will tune in for the battle between the boxing legend and the UFC star.
