Boxing: Tua confirms return to ring

David Tua has confirmed he is stepping back into the boxing ring next month in New York.

Tua has been twin billed with another former heavyweight contender Shannon Briggs, with the promotion being staged on Wednesday, July 26.

At this stage he has not confirmed an opponent, but said that will happen soon.

Tua said he will have an opponent next week, the main thing is to have a fight confirmed for four weeks.

Tua is back training in Phoenix, Arizona, with Roger Bloodworth, one of his trainers when he first burst onto the American professional scene.
