Boxing: Murdoch has more than just baggage to handle

It will be age versus experience when Anthony Bigeni puts his Pan Asian light-heavyweight belt on the line against Australian Paul Murdoch in the headline bout of the card at Sky City tomorrow.

Murdoch, 25, from Melbourne, has a big amateur history, but as a recent pro may struggle over 12 rounds against the 36-year-old, still fit from his work as baggage-handler at Auckland Airport.

Gerard Zohs, with five wins since his loss to Anthony Mundine and four of those by KO, meets Jason Costa from Hamilton for the New Zealand middleweight title.

Bigeni's sparring partner, Samoan Fale Braxton, meets Gary Hart from Hamilton in a four-rounder.
