The faster-paced, made-for-spectators Bowls Premier League begins in Auckland today.
The $100,000 Bowls Australia initiative will be staged in New Zealand for the first time in what is the fifth instalment of the event.
The event sees rosters of three compete against one another with two players in action per
team each game.
The day session will be held at Sunnybrae Bowling Club before a televised night session at the North Shore Events Centre.
Section play will be followed by a knockout format.
