New Zealand rep' players suit up for schools at Schick Championships

Day one of the Schick Championships, New Zealands secondary schools national basketball championships, tipped-off today at Central Energy Trust Arena in Palmerston North.

The week-long event will bring over 850 students from 70 secondary schools, plus families and support staff, to the nine court venue.

The Manawatu public will have a special opportunity to see some of New Zealands best emerging basketball talent on display, with a large number of New Zealand age-group representatives leading out their school teams
