Concussion has ruled Kiwis NBA star Steven Adams out for the Oklahoma City Thunders' clash with Los Angeles Clippers today.
Adams left yesterday's win over Sacramento in the third quarter, after falling to the ground and banging his head on the court.
He did not return to the game and
was dealing with symptoms that require him to enter the NBA's mandated concussion protocol. Adams will have to progress through a series of tests before he's cleared for action.
That could take days or weeks.
