The Wellington Saints will be aiming for their third straight NBL title against the Southland Sharks in a Grand Final rematch.

Sunday 5th August - Grand Final starts at 4:45 pm with tip off 5pm:

The Wellington Saints clinched top spot for the National Basketball League playoffs.

A 91-75 victory over the Nelson Giants last week saw the Saints finish the regular season at 15-3.

The Giants and Sharks will face off in the 2 v 3 semifinal, while the Saints will take on the Bay Hawks in the 1 v 4 encounter.

Who will come out victorious is still anyone's guess, with all four sides on a roughly level playing field.

Unlike last year, when the Saints romped to the title without losing a game, there has been no dominant outfit in 2018, and each side has had stretches where they have failed to flatter.
