"I just saw Corey being Corey," he said after the game.
"There's a court hearing on Tuesday morning and we'll deal with that and whatever comes out of that.
"You go in there and you hear the charges and you move on from there.
"There's no trial or anything happening so it's just something that he's working away (on) with his people and he'll just have to deal with it."
Webster's arrest comes five years after he was sacked by the club for using synthetic cannabis.
The 28-year-old served a one-year ban from the sport in 2011 after testing positive for the drug and it followed him testing positive for cannabis while playing for the Harbour Heat in the domestic competition.
But his future with the Breakers appears safe for now, despite his hot-and-cold performance on Sunday - he scored 10 of his 15 points in the second quarter - suggesting his off-field problems may well have been a distraction.
The Breakers (6-8) have lost four games in a row and sit bottom of the ladder as they prepare to host Brisbane on Thursday.
