Basketball: Breakers guards declared fit for start

Breakers coach Paul Henare has declared his key guards fit for round one of the Australian basketball league season.

Kirk Penney, Corey Webster and Ben Woodside have all been sidelined with injuries during the club's winless pre-season.

But Henare says they're all back at training and healthy to face Melbourne United on Friday night.

Tall Blacks point guard Shea Ili is the only player who won't be considered to face Melbourne because of injury.
