Steven Adams has enjoyed his best game of the NBA season, recording a double-double to help Oklahoma City to a sixth straight win.
The Kiwi scored 11 points and grabbed 11 rebounds during the Thunder's 106-90 win over the Portland Trail Blazers, posting double figures in both categories for thefirst time this season.
Adams did most of his best work in the first quarter, scoring nine points and seizing six boards to help his side put their noses in front at the first break.
The starting centre played 22 minutes and shot five-of-eight from the floor, while back-up Enes Kanter also enjoyed a double-double of 12 points and 13 rebounds.
In his third season in the NBA, the 22-year-old Adams is averaging 6.1 points and 5.8 rebounds while playing an average of 24 minutes in 24 of the Thunder's 25 games.
