Although Adams will be one of the youngest sport stars to release an autobiography, Penguin Random House Publishing Director, Debra Millar, assured the basketball star's story so far has been "entirely captivating".
Adams' autobiography will share insight into his early years, such as the impact of his father's death when Adams' was just 13-years-old.
It will also explore Adams' basketball career, from playing against his siblings in their Rotorua backyard, to his journey through the NBA ranks, told with "warmth, humour and humility".

"The book coincides with Steven having a sensational NBA season and attracting a lot of media attention in the US. We couldn't be prouder or more excited to be sharing his story," said Millar.
Millar is confident the autobiography will be a huge success both in New Zealand and in the United States, with Adams' former high school friend, Madeleine Chapman, co-writing the book.
