Veteran New Zealand centre Robert Hickey yesterday announced his retirement from international play.
"International basketball requires a huge commitment, which unfortunately I can no longer provide," Hickey, 29, said.
Hickey passed 50 games for the Tall Blacks and was part of the world championship campaign in Indianapolis last year.
