INDIVIDUAL

New Zealand will have a strong presence in the quarter-finals.

In the men's section, third-seed Geoff Bellingham from Waitakere will play Hutt Valley's Scott Menzies (seventh seed) and No 2 seed John Moody from North Harbour meets Australian Stuart Gomez, the fifth seed.

In the other top-eight matches today, eighth-seed Daniel Forrest, of North Harbour, faces Australian Lenny Tjoe and top-seeded Australian Stuart Brehaut plays countryman Hung Phan.

In the women's singles, the Gordon sisters, Nicole and third-seeded Rebecca, of Auckland, face each other and fourth-seed Rachel Hindley, a star of the team's win over Australia, takes on Southland's Kimberly Windsor, guaranteeing at least two semifinal spots for the home team.
