Badminton: Three titles for NZ team

The New Zealand badminton team have claimed three titles at the Skagen Open in Denmark.

Dan Shirley and Sara Runesten Petersen won the mixed doubles and Shirley teamed with John Gordon to win the men's doubles. Nicole Gordon and Runesten Petersen won the women's doubles title.

Six of the potential Commonwealth Games team left for training and competition in Europe two weeks ago and have a heavy schedule planned before they join the remainder of the New Zealand team in Eindhoven, in the Netherlands, for the Thomas and Uber Cup world teams championships this month.
