Athletics: Willis wins third Fifth Avenue Mile title

Kiwi Olympic medalist Nick Willis has won the Fifth Avenue Mile race in New York for the third time.
Willis won in 3:54.8 to add to his 2008 and '13 titles. Chris O'Hare of Britain was second, followed by Norway's Henrik Ingebrigsten.
In the women's event American Jenny Simpson won
her fourth title.
It was the third straight victory for Simpson, the 2011 world champion in the 1,500 metres.
She won in 4 minutes, 29 seconds to edge two-time winner Shannon Rowbury by 0.3 seconds. Susan Kuijken of the Netherlands was third
