Kimberley Smith set a New Zealand national 5000m record of 14m 56.58s after finishing 10th at the Van Damme memorial meeting in Belgium.
The overseas-based Aucklander sliced nine seconds off her record set a year ago in Stockholm.
Nick Willis of Wellington was also 10th in the 1500m, running 3m 35.16s.
In Copenhagen, Denmark, Jason Stewart of Napier finished fifth over 800m in 1m 48.76s and Paul Hamblyn of Auckland seventh in 1m 49.75s. Earlier in the week Stewart was seventh in the 800m in 1m 48.12s and Hamblyn second in the 1500m in 3m 45.33s at the Malmo Al-Galan meeting in Sweden.
