New Zealand's team for the world athletics championship in Moscow next month is now up to nine.
Javelin thrower Stuart Farquhar and 800m runner Angie Smit have been added to the group.
Hamilton's Farquhar has been to three Olympics, with a best finish of ninth in London last year. The Commonwealth
Games silver medallist in Delhi three years ago, his best throw is 86.31m.
Smit has qualified for her first senior championships after finishing fourth at the world university games in Kazan, Russia this week, clocking 2min 0.03s, under B qualifying standard.
The pair join Valerie Adams (shot put), Mary Davies (marathon), Brent Newdick (decathlon), Quentin Rew (50km walk), Jake Robertson (10,000m), Kim Smith (10,00m) and Nick Willis (1500m) in the New Zealand team.
Three other athletes still have a chance - shot putter Tom Walsh, hammer thrower Julia Ratcliffe and 5000m runner Zane Robertson.
