Athletics: Records tumble at IAAF Super Grand Prix

It was a world record-breaking day for Russia's women at the IAAF Super Grand Prix in Greece, with Svetlana Feofanova triumphant in the pole vault and Gulnara Samitova cleaning up the steeplechase.

Feofanova, the reigning world champion, cleared 4.88m to beat the old mark of 4.87m set by compatriot Elena Isinbayeva at the weekend at Gateshead, northern England.

Samitova broke her own women's 3000m steeplechase record with a time of 9m 1.59s. She set the previous mark of 9m 8.33s last year.
