New Zealand's Jessica Penney has finished 4th equal in the final of the women's long jump at the World Junior Athletics championships in Beijing.
The Wellington athlete jumped a personal best (PB) of six metres and 37 centimetres (6.37m) with her final attempt, equalling the distance achieved earlier by a French woman.
The gold medal in the event was won by Rhonda Watkins of Trinidad and Tobago, with a leap of six metres 46.
