Athletics: Duo disciplined after slingshot incident

Athletics Australia has sent two athletes home from a training camp after they admitted firing slingshots at tourists.

Hammer thrower Aaron Fish, 21, was removed from the team for next month's Commonwealth Games in Manchester and sprinter Jamie Barnes, 18, had been withdrawn from Australia's squad for next month's world junior championships in Kingston, Jamaica.

Australian police said investigations would continue into alleged incidents involving marbles fired from slingshots towards windows and other buildings in Darwin.
