After two years of business in Mt Eden, Unlimited Potential has bought the old BNZ building to give the company a striking road-front presence in the heart of Mt Eden village.
Company director Grant Lynch says the need to be involved in the community is paramount for Unlimited Potential.
"The building
says we are serious and here for the long haul. We've made a significant investment in this area in terms of buying the building and doing it up.
"People have spent two years unconditionally embracing us and our style while we've been around the corner in Poronui St. We enjoy a great little culture and we have a great affinity with the buyer and seller.
"In some ways, the move to new premises is just cementing that relationship with the community."
The Unlimited Potential offices sport a streamlined, modern look, the work of Crosson Clarke Architects. The building had no architectural merit so provided a blank canvas.
Lynch says that rather than attempt a character look, Unlimited Potential built for the future.
"Our style is looking forward rather than looking back and we took the opportunity to convey that in bricks and mortar. That's not to say we don't have a feeling for the older homes around the area, but we didn't have that character to play with here."
