Havana Motor Lodge, a central Rotorua business encompassing accommodation units, a swimming pool complex and an owner's residence, has come up for sale at a time when the hospitality market is flourishing.

The 2222 sq m property features 22 motor lodge units, a swimming pool complex with a heated main pool and two mineral pools, and a two bedroom owner or manager's residence.
Rendell said Havana Motor Lodge presents an excellent business prospect for a new owner to step into an established accommodation operation as the industry heads into its busy season.

"Destination Rotorua says the region's accommodation market remains buoyant, with an increase in the number of visitors.
"The agency's latest figures show that 85,000 international visitor nights were spent in Rotorua's commercial accommodation for the month of April this year - up from 10,000 nights or a 14 per cent increase from the same month last year.
"Rotorua's attraction and activities sites also experienced a 14 per cent growth in the same period - with spending by visitors on electronic cards up by 31 per cent."
