Whillans brokers AA Centre sale

Bruce Whillans of Whillans Realty Group brokered the recently reported sale by NPT Optimised Property Investments (NPT.NZX) of its interest in the 15-level AA Centre at 99 Albert St, Auckland CBD, for $47m to Sky City.

Silverfin syndication successful

Silverfin Capital's syndication of four national distribution centres, purchased from New Zealand food logistics company Provida, has closed fully subscribed, following a marketing campaign by Colliers International brokers Charlie Oscroft and Kris Ongley. The proportionate ownership scheme involved the sale of 233 parcels to investors for a total of $11,650,000.

Dannevirke The Warehouse

In southern Hawke's Bay, the land and buildings housing The Warehouse at 2 High St, Dannevirke, has been sold for $3.7m to a Wellington investor by Brendon and Lynn Bradley of Bayleys Tauranga in conjunction with Rollo Vavasour of Bayleys Havelock North.

Taupiri Farm Source sold

The 986sq m Taupiri branch of Fonterra-owned Farm Source on its 3948sq m site was sold to a passive investor from Auckland for $2,250,000 by Josh Smith of Bayleys Waikato.

Albany showroom/warehouse

A 946sq m modern retail showroom/warehouse at Unit 4, 35 William Picking Drive, Albany, was sold by WP Properties Ltd to an owner-occupier through joint sole agents Jimmy O'Brien of Colliers International and Marty Van Barneveld of Harcourts for $2,765,000, representing a yield of 6.14 per cent.

Big Hastings site flipped

A 1640sq m large format retail warehouse, tenanted to trampoline franchise Flipout on a five-year term, and it's a 3049sq m site at 403 St Aubyn St, Hastings, was sold by Paul Garland of Bayleys Havelock North to a local investor for $1,640,000 and an 8.84 per cent yield.
