Hamilton The Warehouse store
A 5446sq m single-level retail store, leased for a net annual rental of $650,000 by The Warehouse on a 1.2276ha site at 265 Clyde St, Hamilton, was sold by deadline private treaty through Mark Brunton and Alan Pracy of Colliers International for $8,550,000plus GST, representing a yield of 7.6 per cent.
Big Tauranga land sale
In the largest land transaction to date in the Tauriko Business Estate in Tauranga, Lot 360, comprising 6.3762ha, sold with services in place for $12,543,840 through Brendon and Lynn Bradley, and Lloyd Davidson of Bayleys Tauranga. It was purchased by Mt Maunganui-based Jace Investments Limited which intends to progressively develop the site for a large scale post-harvest kiwifruit facility.
An 809sq m three-level Auckland building, encompassing warehouse, office and showroom space on the first two levels with a three-bedroom apartment above, and situated on an underdeveloped 1115sq m Mixed Use zoned corner site at 1 Minnie St, Eden Terrace, has been sold with vacant possession on a long settlement to a developer for $3,888,000 through Scott Kirk and James Were of Bayleys Auckland.
In a deal brokered by John Davies and David Burley of Colliers International, a 508sq m freehold strata retail unit leased to Macpac at 2/255 Broadway, Newmarket, was sold by negotiation to a Christchurch-based investor for $6,725,000 representing a yield of 6.25 per cent.
