A free hold strata commercial unit is being offered for sale in the Meadowbank suburban shopping Centre located between the Auckland suburbs of Remuera, Glendowie and Kohimarama.

De Jong says the 182 sq m unit is being offered with vacant possession and is strategically placed within the shopping centre with internal roller door access to the popular Food Court area along with external glass doors.
Neighbouring retail outlets within the Food Court include Curry Village, K&G Cafe, Midori Sushi and Urban Fuel.
"The original tenant when the mall was strata titled was a McDonalds' restaurant which gave the unit a high standard of fit out," she says. "Part of the title is the old drive through section of the McDonald's restaurant and so it has the two entrances, Then it was occupied a women's gym which saw shower and toilet facilities installed."

"The main reception area adjacent to the Food Court has tiled flooring and there are two small offices. The floor has been carpeted in the main area with artificial lighting - again from recessed fluorescent tubes."
Construction of the irregular shaped unit is of concrete foundations with concrete and timber flooring along with steel walls with wooden framing and cement board cladding on the outside. The unit has plasterboard internal walls, with aluminium joinery and a Longrun steel roof.
"The shopping centre was redeveloped in 1997, based around an original Foodtown which was upgraded at the time, and is now the Countdown supermarket," says de Jong.
