The Mangakino Hotel, accommodation business and more than 4000sq m of land are on the market for less than $1 million.

The hotel's house bar recently closed but the complex at 55 Rangatira Drive still operates successful and has recently refurbished accommodation facilities, says Christine Stevens, the owner of Century 21 Stevens Realty.

Stevens says the venue serves locals and travellers alike, being sited in a thriving community with many social, sport and hobby activities on offer.

Noting the average house price in Auckland is now over $1m, Stevens says $995,000 asking price represents, "a big bang for your buck".
