Copper Roofing Company is a privately-owned New Zealand company which specialising in quality copper and zinc roofs.
The five-year-old firm now offers its services throughout New Zealand, Australia and the South Pacific.
A director of the firm, Mark Hall, says it has a variety of profiles to complement any architecture, including snap-lock,
standing seam, batten, classic shingle and tile profiles.
"Some tray roofing is available in varying pan sizes to suit individual preferences. However, if clients want something different we can curve or splay tray roofs to add character or even hand-cut individual teardrop roofs." Mr Hall says the firm puts a lot of time and effort into every project.
"That commitment led us to specialty wall and ceiling claddings, and custom-made guttering and rainwater heads to make a feature of products clients used to want to hide."
Standard profiles are roll-formed on site to cut overheads and save time. Specialised work, he says, is carried out by experienced coppersmiths either in the workshop or on site, depending on the complexity of the work involved. With the ever-increasing demand for and popularity of copper the firm has put "more emphasis" on research and development.
"For example, our new classic shingle and tile profile was launched for the first time last year and took over two years to design and develop," Mr Hall says.
"We are always looking to develop new ideas and keep up with the international trends, and enjoy being involved in one-off design jobs.
"When we started, our main objective was to manufacture and fabricate copper and zinc roofs and products at very competitive prices. We have been able to achieve our goal, and it is exciting to see this quality of work in New Zealand."
