A former Auckland medical centre, which is for sale and now vacant at West Harbour, could interest owner-operators, commercial investors or developers.
Now vacant, the corner building at 40 Luckens Road is being marketed for sale by negotiation with an asking price of $1,050,000 by Meir Alfassi, commercial and industrialsales, and leasing agent with Harveys.
Alfassi says he is confident of strong interest in the property due to a 'boom' in west Auckland.
"As the population grows so does the need for services in the area."
With a floor areas of about 187sq m, the property was built as a residence, then converted to office accommodation. It has concrete foundations; brick veneer/cedar weatherboard cladding; aluminium joinery and a standard profile iron roof.
"At the entrance, is a generous covered canopy area and a covered deck running along the southern, western and northern elevations. The internal layout encompasses a reception and waiting area, five consultant rooms, treatment room, staff room and male and female amenities.

Alfassi says that such a substantial property and parcel of land presents many options. A buyer could occupy the building with their own business, re-lease it, re-configure it, or remove it to erect a new building.
"Under Auckland Council Unitary Plan the property is in a Mixed Housing Suburban zone with special discretionary commercial use; and in recent years that's included medical or allied clinics."
