Nigel Ainley of Ca'Bella Construction has taken issue with a letter from the chief executive officer of Equinox Capital, David Drew, referring to him as Equinox's general manager.
In his letter of July 5 to all creditors of Equinox Construction (now called GFF), Mr Drew wrote that Nigel Ainley
had been contracted to perform the functions of general manager: "We are confident that Equinox Construction Ltd will reap the benefits of having Nigel on board."
But Mr Ainley is pointing out that his understanding of the arrangement was that he was appointed only to "sort out the mess" with Number One Hobson, the 20-level tower of 186 apartments GFF was to build.
An application to liquidate GFF is to be heard in the High Court on November 16. A creditors' meeting is scheduled for October 30.
