The new two-storey building replaces an earthquake damaged property.
A new retail and office building in Christchurch has replaced an indistinct building that was earthquake damaged and partly demolished.
The recently completed building at 203 Papanui Rd was constructed under the project management of JLL Christchurch's Project and Development Services team.
The two-storey 1100sq m building has three retailunits on the ground level with two office suites above.
"Its distinctive facade is a welcome addition to the Papanui Road streetscape," says Philip Overend, JLL's Associate Director of Project and Development Services.
"The challenge was to complete the demolition work and rebuild within a tight space, with neighbours on three sides and the busy street out front."
