How to enter:
Purchase The New Zealand Herald, Weekend Herald or Herald on Sunday between Tuesday, July 26 and Wednesday, August 10 2011; and look for the daily keyword to enter via the website. Web entries close at 11.59pm on Friday, August 12, 2011. One (1) winner will be drawn
for this promotion. The Winner will be drawn on or before Friday, September 9, 2011.

Web Entries - keyword required:
Go to nzherald.co.nz/escape and enter a daily keyword along with your details. You can only use each keyword once. Entrants can either save up all their keywords and enter them together in one go or they can login each day to add to their list of keywords. By purchasing the Herald each day during the promotion and collecting different keywords, you increase your chances of winning. There will be one bonus keyword for added entry; this bonus keyword will be sent via email on Monday, July 25, 2011 to those who have subscribed to Reader Services or Subscriber Benefits e-newsletter prior to this date. If readers aren't on our database and don't receive the email they can elect to join the Reader Services e-newsletter and they will be emailed the bonus keyword. The entry criteria for this bonus keyword are consistent with the standard web entry criteria for this competition. Keywords can be entered in any order however the daily keywords from the paper will not be accepted in the bonus keyword box and the bonus keyword will not be accepted in the daily keyword box. Keywords can be entered singularly or saved and entered at the same time.

Terms of entry

1. Information on How to Enter and all details on the entry form (web) and at point of sale form part of these Terms. To the extent of any inconsistency, the Terms below prevail. By entering, you accept these Terms.

2. Entry is open to NZ residents only. Anyone employed by (and any immediate family member of someone employed by) APN New Zealand Ltd, Malaysia Airlines and Tourism Malaysia, and any agencies associated with these companies or with the promotion and Herald retailers are ineligible to enter. APN is APN New Zealand Limited (and its related companies). If the winner is under the age of 18 years the prize(s) will be awarded to the winner's parent(s) or guardian(s).

3. There will be one (1) winner and the one (1) winner will win a luxury travel package to Malaysia for (2) two. The travel package includes:
- Business Class airfares from Auckland to Kuala Lumpur return
- $2,000 NZ spending money
- Kuala Lumpur city tour
- 1 nights accommodation at Shangri-la Hotel, Kuala Lumpur
- 3 nights accommodation at Pangkor Laut Resort, all meals included
- Sightseeing tour whilst travelling overland to Ipoh
- 1 nights accommodation at Banjaran Spa Resort, Ipoh, breakfast included
- All transfers within Malaysia

4. The company's condition of carriage as recited on its ticket applies. The tickets are not transferable to other passengers, cannot be upgraded, nor exchanged or refundable in cash.

5. The airline tickets are valid for travel on the sector specified and not exchangeable for other routing and are not applicable for open dated air ticket(s). Hotel accommodation, transfers and tours are for the named establishments only and cannot be exchanged.

6. Voluntary stopover other than specified in the itinerary outlined will not be allowed.

7. Travel is valid on Malaysia Airlines operated services only. This excludes travels on Malaysia Airlines joint operations and code share services operated by our airline partners.

8. The airport tax and government tax, administration fee will be covered by APN New Zealand Ltd. The total government taxes, airport tax and administration are approximately $119.00 NZD per person.

9. Any surcharges other than stated above ie excess baggage fees will be borne by the passenger(s).

10. All out of pocket expenses, insurance, passport fees, visas where applicable, transport to and from departure point, transfers and all other ancillary costs are the responsibility of the winners.

11. The validity for travel redemption is for six months from Friday, September 9, 2011. No extension allowed.

12. Travel is subject to flight availability, flight restrictions and hotel availability. Travel is not permitted during peak travel periods including New Zealand School and Public Holidays.

13. The travel validity of the ticket is 30 days from date of departure.

14. A minimum of one month's notice is required for bookings.

15. Ticket must be issued by Malaysia Airlines, Auckland.

16. GO Holidays will book all accommodation and will provide the winner with a detailed itinerary.

17. Enrich Frequent Flyer miles are not applicable.

18. Baggage allowance is 30kg per person.

19. Only one date change is allowed after ticketing and will be subject to a $100 fee for reissue.

20. The winner and their travel companion must ensure that their passports have a minimum validity of six months before travelling and any visa requirements are the responsibility of the winner.

21. Malaysia Airlines reserved the right to change any Terms & Conditions without any prior notice.

22. Compliance with any health or other government requirements is the responsibility of each winner and their travel companion.

23. Winners will be notified by phone. If the prize is not claimed within 7 days from the draw date APN may re-draw a new winner. APN's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Prize cannot be exchanged for cash, credit or service and no exchange communications will be entered into.

24. Neither APN nor Malaysia Airlines or Tourism Malaysia are liable for any loss, damage or injury (including without limitation indirect or consequential loss) suffered by any person in connection with the promotion or any prize, except for any liability under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

25. All entries are deemed received at the time of receipt by APN when received in to APN's ' BE IN TO WIN A LUXURY MALAYSIAN ESCAPE' database and NOT at time of transmission by the entrant. APN's records are conclusive as to time of receipt. Late, lost, stolen, misdirected, illegal, incomplete, illegible, damaged, reproduced, or altered entries are invalid. APN is not responsible for such entries nor for any error, technical malfunction, loss, omission, communications delay or failure.

26. APN reserves the right to verify the validity of any entry. APN may disqualify any person who enters a keyword more than once or copies a coupon or otherwise tampers with the process or fails to comply with these Terms.

27. Entrants are identified by the email address used to submit the entry. Any prize won by a web entrant will be awarded to the holder of the email address (or that person's parent/guardian) from which that entry was submitted. APN takes no responsibility for disputes resulting from entries submitted using an email address belonging to any other person.

28. Entries become the property of APN and APN may disclose all personal information relating to the entries to Malaysia Airlines and/or Tourism Malaysia. In accordance with the Privacy Act 1993, APN collects personal information and APN holds personal information to conduct the promotion, notify prize winners, verify prize winners' identities and may be used by APN, Malaysia Airlines and Tourism Malaysia for future promotional activities, including (where consented to) sending the entrant emails. Individuals have rights to access and request correction of their personal information held by APN, Malaysia Airlines and Tourism Malaysia by calling 0800 100 888 (APN), 09 379 3743 option 4 (Malaysia Airlines) and 09 309 6290 (Tourism Malaysia). Failure to provide all requested personal information may result in the entry being invalid.

29. Each entrant agrees that, if he or she wins a prize, his or her details (including name, suburb/town, and photo) may be published in the Herald (print and/or online) and used for other publicity purposes.

30. APN, New Zealand Ltd (APN) is the promoter and it's registered office is located at 46 Albert St, Auckland City.
