KEY POINTS:

Purchase The New Zealand Herald or Herald on Sunday between Monday, June 9 and Sunday, June 22, 2008 for your chance to win 1 of 6 Avanti bike packs every day.

Each of the 84 winners will receive an Avanti Expedition bike and Sonic helmet.

There
are two ways to enter:

1. Web: Enter the daily keywords printed in the newspaper along with your details at www.win6bikesaday.co.nz.

2. Postal: Fill out the daily entry form printed in the Herald and send it to "Win 6 Bikes a Day" PO Box 147-991, Auckland.

Every keyword entry or coupon entry gives you one chance to win in one daily draw (the draw day is dependent on the day the entry is received).

One entry coupon and keyword will be published everyday from June 9 - June 22, 2008. You can only use each keyword once. By purchasing the Herald on different days during the promotion and collecting different keywords, you may enter those keywords in 1 draw. For example, if you have keywords from Monday and Tuesday, you may enter both those keywords in Wednesday's draw (giving you 2 chances to win), but you may not use those keywords in any other draw. Each postal entry must include an original entry coupon in a separate envelope valid for entry into one daily draw. There will be 14 draws, with 3 winners in each draw.

How to enter:
Purchase The New Zealand Herald or Herald on Sunday between 09.06.08 and 22.06.08, look for the daily keyword to enter via Web or the daily coupon to enter via Post.

There will be 14 draws, with six (6) winners in each draw winning an Avanti Bike Pack. A draw will be held each day between 10.06.08 and 22.06.08 (i.e. 13 draws), and the 14th draw will be held on 26.06.08.

For the 1st to 13th draws: Web entries received between 12.01am and midnight in one day will be eligible for the following day's draw; Postal entries received by 5pm in one day will be eligible for the following day's draw. For the 14th draw, all entries must be received by midnight on 25.06.08.

Web Entries keyword required:
Go to www.win6bikesaday.co.nz, and enter a keyword along with your details. You can only use each keyword once. By purchasing The New Zealand Herald on different days during the promotion and collecting different keywords, you may enter those keywords in 1 draw. For example, if you have keywords from Monday and Tuesday, you may enter both those keywords in Wednesday's draw (giving you 2 chances to win), but you may not use those keywords in any other draw.

Postal Entries coupon required:
Complete the original coupon and send in an envelope marked with your name, address and contact telephone number to "NZ Herald 6 Bikes A Day" PO Box 147-991, Ponsonby, Auckland. No photocopied coupons accepted; each entry must be in a separate envelope.

Terms of Entry:
1. Information on How to Enter and all details on the entry form (web or coupon) and at point of sale form part of these Terms. To the extent of any inconsistency, the Terms below prevail. By entering, you accept these Terms.

2. Entry is open to NZ residents only. Anyone employed by (and any immediate family member of someone employed by) APN, Sheppard Industries/Avanti (Avanti), any agencies associated with the promotion or NZ Herald retailers, is ineligible to enter. APN is APN New Zealand Limited (and its related companies).

3. There are 84 prizes of an Avanti bike pack, each including an Avanti Expedition bike (RRP $449.00) and an Avanti Sonic helmet (RRP $59.90) to be won. Six (6) winners every day for 14 days. See "How to Enter" for closing and draw dates.

4. Proof of winners' identity and age will be required. If a prize-winner is under 18 the prize will be issued to their parent or guardian. The prize-winner will be issued with a voucher that is redeemable at any AvantiPlus Store in New Zealand. The winner must bring the voucher to their chosen store to claim their prize. Winner must provide their helmet and bike size to their chosen AvantiPlus store by 5pm, Friday, 11 July, 2008. Winners will be contacted by the store when their prize is available for collection. Please allow 2 - 3 weeks after 11th July before prize will be ready for collection.

5. Winners will be notified by phone. If a prize is not claimed within 24 hours of a draw APN may re-draw a new winner of that prize. APN's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Prizes cannot be exchangeable for cash, credit or service. Prizes cannot be altered or upgraded. Non-winning entries will not be carried forward into any subsequent prize draws.

6. Neither APN nor Avanti are liable for any loss, damage or injury (including without limitation indirect or consequential loss) suffered by any person in connection with the promotion or any prize, except for any liability under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

7. All entries are deemed received at the time of receipt by APN (for web entries, when received in to APN's "6 Bikes a Day" database and NOT at time of transmission by the entrant). APN's records are conclusive as to time of receipt. Late, lost, stolen, misdirected, illegal, incomplete, illegible, damaged, reproduced, or altered entries are invalid. APN is not responsible for such entries nor for any error, technical malfunction, loss, omission, communications delay or failure.

8. APN reserves the right to vary these Terms or to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion.

9. APN reserves the right to verify the validity of any entry. APN may disqualify any person who enters a keyword more than once or copies a coupon or otherwise tampers with the process or fails to comply with these Terms.

10. Web entrants are identified by the email address used to submit the entry. Any prize won by a web entrant will be awarded to the holder of the email address (or that person's parent/guardian) from which that entry was submitted. APN takes no responsibility for disputes resulting from entries submitted using an email address belonging to any other person.

11. Entries become the property of APN. In accordance with the Privacy Act 1993, APN collects and holds personal information to conduct the promotion, notify prize winners, verify prize winners' identities and may be used for APN's future promotional activities, including (where consented to) sending the entrant email and/or text messages. Individuals have rights to access and request correction of their personal information held by APN by calling 0800 100 888. Failure to provide all requested personal information may result in the entry being invalid.

12. Each entrant agrees that, if he or she wins a prize, his or her details (including name, suburb/town, and photo) may be published in the New Zealand Herald (print and/or online) and used for other publicity purposes.
