Young jewellery designer Petra Bettjeman was trained via an old-fashioned goldsmith's apprenticeship, bringing modern touches to traditional jewellery practices.
Based in Auckland, she makes each piece by hand for a personal touch, and recently began working with 9ct gold and sterling silver such asthis Calavera necklace, which is new in at Tessuti, Ph. (09) 376 4802.
