Terms of Entry for the "Win $3000 of Jewellery of Your dreams" Competition

1. Information on How to Enter and all details on the competition ad form part of these Terms. To the extent of any inconsistency, the Terms below prevail. By entering, readers accept these Terms. Entry is open to the Public. Anyone employed by (and any immediate family member of someone employed by) The Whiteboard New Zealand Limited, the New Zealand Jewellery Show and Carats Design Jewellery are ineligible to enter.

2. Entries close 3.30pm, Sunday, July 4, 2010. Entry forms appear in VIVA and in the New Zealand Herald. Completed entry forms shall be brought to the New Zealand Jewellery Show during show hours as stated on the Entry form. Paid admission to the Show is not a requirement of entry. The Public may enter more than once on an Entry form from VIVA and The New Zealand Herald (photocopies will not be accepted) stating their contact details on each entry form to be eligible for the draw. The draw will take place on Sunday 4th July 2010 at 4pm at the New Zealand Jewellery Show venue.

3. If the winner of the prize is under the age of 16 years the prize will be awarded to the winner's parent(s) or guardian(s).

4. The first entry randomly drawn will win the $3000 worth of Jewellery of your Dreams" The prize winner will be introduced to Carats Design Jewellery who will work with the winner to jointly design the winner's jewelley. The $3,000 is the total value of the work won.

5. The prize is not redeemable for cash.

6. The prizewinners will be notified by phone. If the prize is not claimed within 10 days of the draw, The New Zealand Jewellery Show may re-draw a new winner of the prize unless a specific arrangement has been made with the winner. The New Zealand Jewellery Show's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

7. The Whiteboard (NZ) Ltd, the New Zealand Jewellery Show and Carats Design Jewellery is not liable for any loss, damage or injury (including without limitation indirect or consequential loss) suffered by any person in connection with the promotion or any prize, except for any liability under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

8. All entries are deemed received at the time of receipt by The New Zealand Jewellery Show, i.e. when received in the entry form box at the Show event. Late, lost, stolen, misdirected, illegal, incomplete, illegible, damaged, reproduced, or altered entries are invalid. The New Zealand Jewellery Show, the Whiteboard (NZ) Ltd and Carats Jewellery Design is not responsible for such entries nor for any error, technical malfunction, loss, omission, communications delay or failure.

9. The New Zealand Jewellery Show reserves the right to vary these Terms or to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion.

10. The New Zealand Jewellery Show reserves the right to verify the validity of any entry and may disqualify any person who tampers with the process or fails to comply with these Terms.

11. Entries become the property of The New Zealand Jewellery Show. In accordance with the Privacy Act 1993, The New Zealand Jewellery Show collects and holds personal information to conduct the promotion, notify prize winners and verify prize winners' identities and the information may be used for future promotional activities.
Individuals have rights to access and request correction of their personal information held by The New Zealand Jewellery Show by calling 04 499 9550 Failure to provide all requested personal information might result in the entry being invalid.

12. By accepting the prize, the winner consents to the promoter using his/her details and photographs for promotional and media publicity purposes.

13. The Promoter is The New Zealand Jewellery Show Limited.
