Terms and Conditions for "Win a Ladies' Night Out with Dralion" Competition

TERMS and CONDITIONS


1. Information on How to Enter and all details on the competition ad form part of these Terms. To the extent of any inconsistency, the Terms below prevail. By entering, readers accept these Terms. Entry is open to NZ residents only. Anyone employed by (and any immediate family member of someone employed by) APN and Cirque du Soleil are ineligible to enter. APN is APN New Zealand Limited (and its related companies).

2. Entries close 5pm, Tuesday, July 14, 2009. Readers may enter as many times as they like, but each entry must contain an original entry coupon (no photocopies accepted). The draw will take place on or before Monday, July 20, 2009.

3. The first entry randomly drawn will win the "Ladies Night Out with Dralion" prize package, which is; 1) Ten (10) Price Level 1 tickets (seating to be at the sole discretion of Cirque du Soleil) to see Cirque du Soleil's show Dralion in Auckland, valued at NZD$119.00 each. The show will be held on 29 July, 2009 at 20:00pm under the blue and yellow Grand Chapiteau at Alexandra Park, Auckland. The show runs for approximately 2.5 hours. 2) (1) night accommodation for ten (10) people in five (5) one-bedroom apartment at Oaks on Hobson Residences in Auckland (approximate total value NZD$1100.00) on the same date as the Dralion performance.

4. All costs, charges and expenses, including, without limitation, transportation to the show, medical expenses, hotel transfers, travel insurance, items of a personal nature, meals and beverages, government taxes or levies, laundry, telephone calls, additional nights or room upgrades etc., are the sole responsibility of the winner or his/her guest.

5. The winner and his/her guests must take the prize together.

6. If any part of the prize is not used, for any reason beyond the organisers' control, no compensation will be awarded to the winner or to his/her guest.

7. Prize is not redeemable for cash. Any attempt to resell or auction all or part of this prize will result in immediate cancellation of the prize.

8. The prizewinner will be notified by phone. If the prize is not claimed within 2 days of the draw, APN may re-draw a new winner of the prize. APN's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

9. APN and Cirque Du Soleil are not liable for any loss, damage or injury (including without limitation indirect or consequential loss) suffered by any person in connection with the promotion or any prize, except for any liability under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or other liability that cannot be excluded by law.


10. APN reserves the right to vary these Terms or to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion.

11. APN reserves the right to verify the validity of any entry. APN may disqualify any person who tampers with the process or fails to comply with these Terms.

12. Entries become the property of APN. In accordance with the Privacy Act 1993, APN collects and holds personal information to conduct the promotion, notify prize winners and verify verify prize winners' identities and the information may be used for future promotional activities. Individuals have rights to access and request correction of their personal information held by APN by calling 0800 100 888. Failure to provide all requested personal information might result in the entry being invalid.

13. By accepting the prize, the winner consents to the promoter using his/her details and photographs for promotional and media publicity purposes.
