About the author
Gregor Paul is the Herald on Sunday's senior rugby writer having joined the paper at its launch in 2004. He previously worked for the Scotsman and Scotland on Sunday in Edinburgh and is also the current editor of New Zealand Rugby World magazine.
He is the author of four previous books including the best-selling Reign of King Henry and has won multiple awards for his feature writing. Born in Scotland, he lives in Auckland with his wife and three children.
