1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Entry into this competition is deemed acceptance of the Terms and Conditions.
2. Entry is free and open to residents of New Zealand aged 18 years or older. Employees of the
Promoters, the Promoters' associated companies,
the Promoters' agencies and partners associated with this competition and their immediate families are ineligible to enter.
3. The Promoters reserve the right to withdraw this competition or any part of this competition should their ability to fulfil due obligations be limited at any stage by any form of technical failure.
4. To enter the NZ Herald Business survey competition, entrants must complete the survey and submit a valid email address. Responses will remain confidential unless you opt to be contacted by us in question 11 ("Eligible Entrants").
5. Entries must be received by the Promoters during the Promotional Period. The Promoters accept no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries.
6. Survey entrants are identified by the email address used to enter. Any prize won by a web entrant will be awarded to the holder of the email address (or that person's parent/guardian if the winner(s) is/are under 18 and the nature of the prize requires the winner(s) to be over 18 years of age) from which that entry was submitted. The Promoter takes no responsibility for disputes resulting from email newsletter subscriptions and entries submitted using an email address belonging to any other person.
7. Competition entry dates Monday 11 August, 2014 to Sunday 21 September, 2014 ("Promotional Period").
8. The prize is one (1) Apple iPad Air 16GB WiFi in any colour that is available at the time of purchase by APN. Only 'Eligible Entrants' are in the draw for the prize.
9. The winner(s) will be notified by email. Inability to contact the winners within ten (10) business days of the competition closing will result in the prize being forfeited and a further draw will be conducted.
10. The Promoters' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
11. The Promoter reserves the right to vary the terms, and to modify, terminate or reschedule the Competition, and to substitute any of the prizes for a similar prize of the same value.
12. Any additional costs not covered in as part of the prize that are incurred to take the prize are at the winner's expense.
13. The prize is not exchangeable or transferable and cannot be taken for cash.
14. The Promoter is not liable for any loss, damage or injury (including and without limitation any indirect or consequential loss) suffered by any person in connection with the Competition and prize, except for any liability under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
15. The winners consent to their names and submitted photos being used for public relations purposes relating to this competition.
16. Entrants' personal information will be stored on a database by the Promoters. A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to the Promoters at the addresses set out below.
