TERMS OF ENTRY
1. Information on How to Enter and all details on the website form part of these Terms. To the extent of any inconsistency, the Terms below prevail. By entering, you accept these Terms.
2. Entry is open to NZ residents only. Anyone employed by (and any immediate family member of someone employed by) APN New Zealand Ltd, and any agencies associated with this company or with the promotion and Herald retailers are ineligible to enter. APN is APN New Zealand Limited (and its related companies). If the winner is under the age of 18 years the prize(s) will be awarded to the winner's parent(s) or guardian(s).
3. There will be one (1) winner and the one (1) winner will win a package including;
• A 2013 Merida Bike Pack (2 bikes) valued at $4000
• 2 x Polar RCX5-Bike cycling computers
• 2 nights' accommodation at Hilton Taupo in a Hilton Guest Room - check in 23 November 2012 and check out 25 November 2012
• 2 x free entries into the category of your choice at the 2012 Contact Lake Taupo Cycle Challenge which takes place on Saturday, November 24.
• $200 Fuel Voucher
4. The winner is responsible for any travel required to and from the Hilton Taupo, New Zealand, and the Lake Taupo Cycle Challenge.
5. Accommodation is for the named establishment only and cannot be exchanged, redeemed as cash or transferred.
6. Accommodation is for the named date/s only and cannot be exchanged, redeemed as cash or transferred.
7. Meals are not included with the named accommodation package.
8. The two event entries are only valid for the 2012 Contact Lake Taupo Cycle Challenge.
9. Entry is not open to races only valid for licensed riders which are: 160km Men's Classic Race, OPI Women's Road Race 100km, and the Contact Huka XL Race.
10. If the Contact Lake Taupo Cycle Challenge is cancelled for any unforeseen reason the winner willl still receive all the prizes as stated above, excluding the entries into the 2012 Contact Lake Taupo Cycle Challenge. 2013 Lake Taupo Cycle Challenge entries will be issued instead.
11. Fuel Vouchers are valid for 2 years after their first activation.
12. All out of pocket expenses are the responsibility of the winners.

14. The components of the prize that relate to the Merida Bike Pack may differ to the bikes featured in the promotional artwork.
15. The winner will be notified by phone. If the prize is not claimed within 24 hours from the draw date APN may re-draw a new winner. APN's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Prize cannot be exchanged for cash, credit or service and no exchange communications will be entered into.
16. Neither APN nor associated partners are liable for any loss, damage or injury (including without limitation indirect or consequential loss) suffered by any person in connection with the promotion or any prize, except for any liability under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
17. All entries are deemed received at the time of receipt by APN when received in to APN's database and NOT at time of transmission by the entrant. APN's records are conclusive as to time of receipt. Late, lost, stolen, misdirected, illegal, incomplete, illegible, damaged, reproduced, or altered entries are invalid. APN is not responsible for such entries nor for any error, technical malfunction, loss, omission, communications delay or failure.
18. APN reserves the right to verify the validity of any entry. APN may disqualify any person who enters a keyword more than once or copies a coupon or otherwise tampers with the process or fails to comply with these Terms.
19. Entrants are identified by the email address used to submit the entry. Any prize won by a web entrant will be awarded to the holder of the email address (or that person's parent/guardian) from which that entry was submitted. APN takes no responsibility for disputes resulting from entries submitted using an email address belonging to any other person. Entries become the property of APN and APN may disclose all personal information relating to the entries to the associated partner. In accordance with the Privacy Act 1993, APN collects personal information and APN holds personal information to conduct the promotion, notify prize winners, verify prize winners' identities and may be used by APN for future promotional activities, including (where consented to) sending the entrant emails. 20. Failure to provide all requested personal information may result in the entry being invalid.
21. Each entrant agrees that, if he or she wins a prize, his or her details (including name, suburb/town, and photo) may be published in the Herald (print and/or online) and used for other publicity purposes.
