The closest guess on the night will win $2,000 cash, as well as a limited edition Blues jersey signed by the squad.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Three finalists will be randomly drawn from the database of valid text entries at the Blues v Highlanders match on 5 April 2013.

2. One finalist will be pre-selected from the competition run in The New Zealand Herald between March 22-31 2013.

3. The finalists must be present at the game at which this competition is run to be eligible for the prize.

4. The finalists will be called on the phone number with which they entered the promotion, approximately 20 minutes prior to half time. If the phone call is not answered on the first attempt, a new finalist will be drawn until three finalists have been successfully contacted.

5. The prize is a BLUES 2013 limited edition replica jersey signed by the BLUES squad, plus $2,000.00 cash. The cash will be deposited into the winner's nominated New Zealand bank account no later than 10 working days after the provision of an account deposit slip to APN NZ Ltd (publishers of The New Zealand Herald).

6. If the winner is under 18 years of age, the prize will be awarded to their parent or guardian.

7. The finalists and winner must adhere to all instructions from match-day officials at all times.

8. The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other goods and/or services.

9. Any personal information collected during the competition period will be held by the Blues Franchise Limited and APN NZ Ltd for the purpose of notifying contestants of future promotions and offers from either party.

10. All entries are deemed received at the time of receipt by APN when received in to APN's database and NOT at time of transmission by the entrant. APN's records are conclusive as to time of receipt. Late, illegal, incomplete, or illegible, entries are invalid. APN is not responsible for such entries nor for any error, technical malfunction, loss, omission, communications delay or failure.

11. The winner agrees to allow an image and story to appear on the official Herald or Blues website or social media sites.

12. Only valid text entries received during the at-game competition period will be eligible for entry in the competition.

13. The Promoters (APN NZ Ltd and Blues Franchise Ltd) are not liable for any loss, damage or injury (including without limitation indirect or consequential loss) suffered by any person in connection with the promotion or any prize, except for any liability under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
