A Wairarapa team has won through to the finals of the national indoor bowls mixed fours tournament to be played in Ashhurst this weekend.
The quartet of Elva Simonsen, Kelvin Simonsen, Marilyn O'Neale and Mike King earned that distinction by winning the zone competition held in Napier earlierthis month where they followed a hard-fought 9-9 draw with Hawke's Bay with a narrow 9-8 win over Manawatu and a 10-3 win over Bush-Ruahine.
