Concern is mounting for a 12-year-old South Auckland schoolboy who disappeared on Christmas Day.
Counties Manukau Police say there are fears for the welfare of B.J. Thorner-Harrison who has been missing since December 25.
The schoolboy left his care facility in Manurewa and did not return.
Police say B.J. had
just been discharged from hospital where he'd spent three days having treatment for an infection.
He needed ongoing medication and care for the infection, which has not happened.
