Here in New Zealand, we tend to get stuck-in instead of waiting for someone else to sort it out. Maybe there's something in the water, or the soil. We're a nation of thinkers, doers and crafty buggers and we never take 'no' for an answer.

Whether it's inventing the world's first jet-pack, or getting the kids to school on time while writing your company's annual report, at Yealands Family Wines we recognise that success comes in many shapes and sizes.

We want to celebrate our local success stories, so we're raising a glass to six outstanding Kiwis and giving them a share of $25,000 to help them on their way.

Finalist #2: Elena Keith

Elena Keith was born with progressive hearing loss and, by her late twenties, became profoundly deaf. Following life-changing surgery, Elena is now leading the field in helping others who are also hearing-impaired, by running a dedicated teen mentoring programme Hear for You.
