Would-be burglars nabbed by dog

A police dog was released to track four Wairarapa offenders, who were eventually caught and arrested.

Police caught four young men trying to burgle a Featherston home earlier this week.

The men, aged between 16 and 22, were disturbed by a neighbour and police were called.

A police dog was released to track the offenders who were eventually caught and arrested. The youngest has been referred to Youth Aid, two will appear in Masterton District Court, and the other was released without a charge.
