Women face price hike for suite at National Women's

Women wanting some pampering after giving birth face a 17 per cent price rise at National Women's Hospital from next week.

Fees at the Cornwall Suite, the user-pays ward for new mothers, will rise to $197.50 a night for the first three nights, up from $168.75.

A National Women's spokeswoman attributed the rise to cost increases, particularly for food, at the 12-room suite, which offers an a la carte menu, queen-sized beds and other hotel facilities.
