Woman trapped after crash with 'light' bus in Wiri

A woman is trapped after a car collided with a "light bus" in Wiri, south of Auckland.

The crash happened on Kerrs Rd at 7.04am.

Emergency services are working to remove the woman from the vehicle.

A fire communications spokesman said Kerrs Rd was closed between Inverell Ave and Druces Rd.

Auckland Transport has advised motorists to expect delays and avoid the area if possible.
