Woman seriously injured in Auckland hit and run

Save A 25-year-old woman was seriously injured in a hit and run in Auckland City today.
The woman was struck by a car on Wellesley Street between Hobson Street and Nelson Street around 3:10pm today.
Inspector Duncan Hall said her injuries were serious and an ambulance took her to Auckland Hospital.
The vehicle has not been located, he said.
He said witnesses to the crash were able to provide a description of the vehicle to police and they were making inquiries to find the driver.
